(More customer reviews)Normally people don't look for bargains when it comes to safety, let alone your child's safety.However, this is a bargain you cannot overlook.The Britax goes for $300, there are other models on Amazon and at Babies R US for $100.I got 3 of these for a little over $100!These days people with more than 1 car, and with family members aiding in child care can use more than 1 car seat.
So here are the facts, Consumer Reports rated the Cosco Protex a best buy, however that model is discontinued.So then I found the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety had the most recent reviews, December 2009.They rated the Cosco Pronto a "Best Buy".Here is the article I encourage people to do their own research. Basically with the booster seat you are elevating the child so that a shoulder seat belt with come across a child's shoulder.They are designed for children 30lbs to 100lbs.Now that state laws require children to be in booster seats longer this is nice because we will not have to buy anymore seats now we have this one.

The Cosco is simple and my daughter cannot get out of our car's seat belt once I pull it out all the way and have it lock into place.In her car seat she would take the shoulder harness off, making it less safe.So the fact that this is simple, the cloth parts can be removed to be washed, and we are utilizing the seat belt of our car which is stronger than any carseat belts, I definitely recommend this booster seat.Plus you can buy 3 of these for the price of 1 of the other brands.
