Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I bought this model with 3 of the models by the brand that starts with first to compare. I like this model better than the First's relining model.
Pros:
1) Nice and soft fabric on the removable pads and the sides of the main cover.
2) Good recline. And very easily adjusted
3) Easy height adjustment for both the straps and the head rest.
4) Fits in our Prius! I have it on the passenger side and there is plenty of space up front with it installed rear facing.
5) Nice detachable head padding for infants.
6) Adjustable head rest is flush with seat. In the photo it looks a little lifted off the back, but it's flush.
7) Cup holder can be put on either side.
Cons:
1) Rough fabric on the main cover where the head, shoulders, legs and tush would be- down the middle of the cover.
2) There is a hard plastic tab on both straps right at the shoulders. This would be so annoying for a baby or child who moves their head from side to side or tries to sleep. I would recommend making some soft covers and velcroing them over the plastic. It just says to pull up or down on them to adjust the height...totally unnecessary.
3) With all the slats and openings in the fabric necessary for the 'no re-thread' feature I can just imagine all the mess that would be made.
4) Crotch strap is NOT adjustable. Why would anyone make a seat without an adjustable crotch strap?
5) Straps are pretty flimsy and will probably tend to get twisted. I hate twisted straps.
